From the early 1950s onwards, Brigitte Simon and Charles Marq operated a studio for stained glass in Rheims. They invited important artists of their
time to work in their studio, and the workshop became a meeting place
for artists, including Marc Chagall, Le Corbusier, Joan Miró, Serge Poliakoff,
Maria Helena Vieira da Silva, Raoul Ubac, George Braque.
Serge Charchoune worked in the studio in Rheims.
