Jancsó von Nagy-Nyujtód - signets, stamps with coat of arms etc. (6 pieces)


1) iron signet, two sabre-holding armoured arms opposite each other, crossed over ears of corn, on horizontal lines (= colour of the coat of arms: blue), 18th/early 19th century, with simple iron handle, height 32 mm, in turned case (without cover). 2) iron signet in the form of pendant, crowned alliance coat of arms with attributes: lion with whip (?) and eagle over two sabre-holding armoured arms opposite each other, the latter on vertical lines (= colour of the coat of arms: red), c. 1800, height 26 mm, in old damaged leather and velvet case. 3) letter set, consisting of a) a letter opener with etchings of mediaeval figures and attributes, b) pen holder and c) signet (as in no. 1 above), all pieces with agate handles, 19th century, in simple damaged leather case. 4) brass stamp with coat of arms: two sabre-holding armoured arms opposite each other over seven ears of corn, surmounted by a knight’s helmet with crown, surrounded by foliate decor, 19th century, 58 x 48 x 5 mm, including two religious books with elaborate leather binding featuring the stamped coat of arms of the present stamp.
