probably Netherlands, c. 261 x 240 cm, first half of the 17th century, biblical silk and wool weaving in practical small format, an unidentified group of figures under a canopy with an Egyptian figure to the left, the exact provenance of the tapestry is hard to determine as a result of its unusual border featuring motifs reminiscent of coats-of-arms; this piece is complete, with a few repairs due to age, and is backed with supporting linen.
