Baluch Animal Collar,
Northwest Afghanistan (Iran), c. 120 x 9 cm, about 1940, this collar woven from two pieces, with wool tassels and original brass bell, served as both decoration and a tool for locating animals acoustically, bells such as the present one are very rarely preserved; some minor moth damage to the weave.
