Louis XVI revival style, 2nd half of the 19th century, modelled after the work of the 18th century cabinet maker Henri Riesener. Made in mahogany and ebony, partly veneered in mahogany, with filigree marquetry lozenges and a polished finish, with one drawer, tapering fluted legs, and rich, finely chased gilt bronze mounts in the form of decorative strips, rings and "Spargeln". Ca. 75 x 90 x 56 cm. In fine restored condition . (MIN)
