1959 / 1960, from the preliminary series of the Fehlbaum Production/Weil am Rhein, 1967/ 1968, unlacquered and slightly polished Baydur cast blank, traces of production, height c. 83.5 cm, width c. 50 cm, depth c. 54.5 cm, height of seat c. 43 cm. (MHA)

This test series was created for the first production, which started after 1968. Only about 150 pieces of this series were produced. The purpose of this series was to test the correct material composition for this chair, which is technically difficult to manufacture. Unlike the later series product, the backrest is higher and steeper.
