What counts for me is not the “truth” (all art is deception), but the potential dynamic use that I can make out of the experience of my own and others’ thought, in the ways, in the doses and in the haphazardness of the encounters between me and the work (alas) of a tiny number of “occult masters” (as Pessoa defined them).
