delicate green glass with roughly etched side, with all-round cut and gilt decoration of trees and flowers; slightly tapering shape towards the top; in the upper section a small opening due to the production process; the underside with cut and gold-rubbed monogram of J. & L. Lobmeyr;

The green glass series with etched surface and gold décor in Secessionist style was presented at the 1901/02 winter exhibition of the Austrian Museum for Art and Industry. The decorative motifs engraved in the glass and gilt are by Rudolf Marschall. Besides geometrical elements it was a type of floral decoration which was also subsumed under “Bäumchendekor” (tree decor) as an independent series.
