in 1988 / 1991, archaic sculptural construction of blackened iron, wrapped in reed, height c. 130 cm, length c. 150 cm, depth c. 50 cm. (MHA)

The design was modified in 1991 and produced by the Cappellini company as mod. “Bolide” in a limited edition of 99 and 100 copies from 1999 and 2006 onwards.

Provenance:
Purchased directly from Tom Dixon’s workshop in London in 1990.
