probably manufactured by Anton Pospischil, Vienna, c. 1905 / 1907, upholstered wood frame constructions on four legs, dark stained wood feet, forelegs with castors, partly new green textile covering, dimensions of each armchair: height c. 69 cm, width c. 82 cm, depth c. 82 cm. (MHA)
Adolf Loos used stylistically very similar armchairs for Michael Leiss’s apartment in Vienna in 1903.
