In Uncini’s experience, the encounter with a standard building element,
such as a brick, and its subsequent use can be regarded as a determining event. Above all, Uncini considers its value as a modular unit that is capable of
supplying […] pure geometrical abstractions.
The element that defines each of his new creations with bricks is shadow,
which has become a constant presence in his entire
production in recent years.
