Silvio Vigliaturo was born in Acri, Italy, in 1949. His work has been exhibited at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013 (Tibetan pavilion) and at the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011 (Italian pavilion). In 2006, he was nominated artist testimonial of the XX Winter Olympics in Turin.
