1960 Puch 500 D

1960 Puch 500 D - Classic Cars

Just three owners since 1995!

An Austrian success story begins in 1957. Puch presents the Steyr-Puch 500 Modell Fiat. The body came from Turin, the rest from Graz. Air-cooled Boxer engine, fully-synchronised gearbox and counterclockwise speedometer made sure that the diminutive Styrian car was better on all counts than its Italian role model. Improved continuously, around 60,000 Pucherl rolled off the assembly lines until 1975, writing a chapter of Austrian auto making history. They have been part of the country’s cultural legacy for some time!

This Puch 500 D was delivered to Lower Austria and remained registered to its original owner until 1974. The small Puch moved to the big city during the 1980s, residing with its second owner in the 5th District of Vienna until 1995. Then the slightly aged Puch was purchased by the consignor, who had the vehicle completely refurbished. Of course you can tell here and there that 20 years have passed since then, but still it is an immediate crowd-pulle, wherever it rolls up. It starts at the first press of the ignition, was recently serviced, and remains ready to capture hearts in an instant. And because summer is fast approaching, the roof can be taken down in just a few easy steps!
