the ribbed body with wide gilt edges, dark red bands with gold décor and blue rhombs, polychrome painted Indian flowers also on the underside, the mid-section with a seated gold foo lion, the base with painted and moulded dark red acanthus leaves with gilt edges, dark red cushion with gold arabesques and 4 tassels, caparisons on both sides with 5 gold tassels, delicate polychrome painted chinoiseries, with quatrefoil reserve underneath depicting merchants and ship, gold, iron-red and purple leaf rocailles, coral red necks with bird heads holding foliate festoons, elephant with gold tusks and gold toe nails, height 29 cm, 1 tray base with restored segment, Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords mark c. 1860, gilder no. 24, model by Johann Joachim Kändler c. 1743, elephant by Peter Reinicke 1743 (Ru)
