pedestal with trophy arms, in the centre a Roman armour with helmet and plume, banners and standards, the seated Muse Clio with quill and open book recording the great deeds for posterity (“große Helden Thaten in ein Buch der Nachwelt zu wißen einschreibet”) while holding a trumpet to signal victory (“um mit schmetterndem Klag den Sieg zu verkünden”), flanked by a closed book and kettle drums, on the right hand side standards, a sword and quiver with bow, flanked by Fama, hovering over the armour and proclaiming the Czarina’s glory to the world and holding a laurel festoon in her left, below a cannon and war instruments, a turquoise turban and a small seated genius, winding a laurel festoon around the cannon, flat back side, three-sided front side with light turquoise raised chain border and light purple slanting strapwork, porcelain, polychromed and gilt, height 35 cm, length 27 cm, depth 16 cm, small restorations, the inside of the base with hairline crack, Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, second half of the 19th century, model no. 7, former no. 31, red painter no. 14, model by Johann Joachim Kändler April and May 1773 (Ru)
