in 1901, manufactured by the Josef Wytrlik furniture factory, Vienna, marketed by Portois & Fix, oak, American walnut, veneer, bevelled glass, brass fittings, brass mounted base, height approx. 189 cm, width approx. 98 cm, depth approx. 56 cm. (DRAX)
Part of a dining room for the design of which Otto Wytrlik emerged victorious from a competition organised by the Austrian Museum for Art and Industry in 1901. The museum purchased the group and presented it at the 1902 International Decorative Arts Show in Turin, where it won a gold medal.
