c. 1962, lacquered tubular metal construction, plywood seats and backrests, chairs: each height approx. 94 cm, width approx. 47 cm, depth approx. 65 cm (MHA).

Saleroom Notice:

This type of seating was initially started circulating in Vienna’s public transport network from 1962 on. Tram line No. 2, for example, still uses this type of seating alternation with modern cars.

This type of seating was used for trailer type 1852, which was built by the Viennese company Karosseriefabrik Gräf & Stift in Liesing. The trailers started circulating in Vienna’s public transport network from 1962 on. Tram line No. 2, for example, still uses trailer type 1852 cars in alternation with modern cars (200 units of type I3).
