The valet-de-chambre’s confirmation reads as follows: “Confirmation that this porcelain writing set was used exclusively by His Imperial and Royal Apostolic Majesty Emperor Francis Joseph I at audiences in Vienna’s Hofburg, Vienna, 15 November 1916, Ketterl”.
