The Italian opera and film director Gianfranco De Bosio pursued an emphatically historical realism in his production. The rococo spirit was also exhibited in the splendid, sometimes very elaborate costumes of the former Kokoschka assistant Santuzza Calì, which were made in the usual exquisite quality by the famous Roman tailoring company Farani.
This costume consists of a jacket, gown (coat), trousers, belt, cordon and tube scarf, and is made from color-processed cotton. It is in good condition.
