Azerbaijan, c. 170 x 117 cm, late 19th century. Especially beautiful horse blankets symbolising inter alia the reputation of the respective clan originated in the Caucasian region of Azerbaijan. This blanket is attributable to the Shah Savan. Its striped pattern can be found in almost all blankets. The individual stripes feature different animal motifs. Good condition. (VP)
