A Viennese coin scale box from 1789
iron rocker, brass bowls (1789), four round brass weights of 1 DUCAT, 2 DUCAT, 1/2 SOUVRA and 1 SOUVRA, calibrated with double eagle with Vienna cross emblem and the year (17)89, in original box covered with embossed (double eagle with breast shield of Lorraine and Tuscany) leather and lined with red dyed deerskin. Size c. 22.5 x 13 x 2.2 cm.
