A much sought-after specialist with a strong media presence, he also acquired an international reputation in the field of historical jewellery. Inspired by his mother, grandmother and aunts, Fuchs developed a passion for jewellery at an early age. In this field, too, he was particularly interested in bygone eras. This auction offers important pieces from Dr Carl Ludwig Fuchs his collection showing a flair for the extraordinary, his love of craftsmanship and his enthusiasm for precious stones and their cuts.
