(Madrid 1642–1693)
Portrait of Maria Anna of Austria, Queen of Spain, as a widow,
oil on canvas, 83.7 x 63.3 cm, framed

The present painting is a portrait of Mariana (Maria Anna) of Austria (Wiener Neustadt 1634 –1696 Madrid), the Queen consort of Spain, who was the second wife of King Philip IV, who was also her maternal uncle.
