case: platinum 950, number 2457, brilliant c. 1.40 ct, brilliants, baguette-cut diamonds total weight c. 40 ct, covered dial protective lid and covered push-piece, hinged case, length c. 18 cm movement: manual winding, lever movement, number 1190048, calibre 496, crown on the bottom dial: silver-coloured, guilloché, hour markers and dot numerals accessories: case, extract from the archives of Jaeger LeCoultre An extraordinary, very rare wristwatch with diamonds by Cartier. According to the enclosed extract from the archives, this piece of jewellery was produced by Jaeger LeCoultre in 1956 and delivered to Cartier. Items such as the present one are usually unique pieces. The clasp is signed and numbered. The case back bears the English gov. hallmark. The diamonds are crafted in Cartier’s signature ‘Knot of Love’ style.
