metal mount, porcelain, the cobalt blue body with gilt edging, the neck and round base with bright- and matt gilt floral garlands, reeds and medallions, the facing side with a polychrome painted landscape with the reclining couple, Mars and Venus, Cupid with dog, atop the clouds Venus's chariot with swans, light blue bands and lead by 2 amorettes, the bottom left bearing the inscription: H. Poitevin, outlined with gilt acanthus leaves and bellflowers, geometric decoration and delicate leafy vines, the reverse side with a lake landscape and village view, with yellow metal liner and moulded acanthus leaf wreath, Bacchus handles, the base of the body and knop with acanthus leaves, octagonal curving plinth, height: 93 cm, liner slightly lose,
