Three heavy bangles of the Haussa, in typical spiral form and crafted with exposed ends. Cast out of white metal (not silver) in two parts, connected by means of hinges, and engraved and punched on the outsides. Held together as spirals by means of concealed fasteners. A very original, rare type of jewellery. (ME)
