1st third of the 19th century. A serpentine fauteuil in mahogany veneer over softwood, carved with sphinxes and bearded heads, partly painted in dark green and gold, with a later upholstered seat, backrest and sides. Some ageing and wear, the paintwork retouched. (MIN)
