Bavaria/ Irschenberg, known as a Four Seasons cabinet, 1st quarter of the 19th century. A spruce cabinet, partly relief-carved with imbrication, with marbling in green, red and yellow tones, also partly gold painted, with a loose serpentine cornice, canted angles, two doors with figural depictions of the seasons, monogrammed and dated "WM 1825". With the original fitted interior of one drawer and secret compartments, and with later red painting. 194 x 127 x 55 cm. Some ageing, with a fine patina. (MIN/PZ)
