Rustic cabinet,
Known as a “Polsterkasten”, originally Gmunden area, last quarter of the 18th century. Made in spruce with a grained finish, painted with flowers, dated "1792" also with the monogram of Christ. The cabinet has a loose cornice, one door, with later lock and key. 174 x 141 x 66 cm.. Some heavy ageing and evidence of restoration, heavily overpainted. The door mounts temporarily repaired. (PZ)
