A circular table, designed by Adolf Loos,
1915, for the Villa Duschnitz, manufactured by F. O. Schmidt, Vienna, solid rosewood and rosewood veneer, the glazed top with a textile fabric insert, height 60.5 cm, diameter 90.5 cm. (DRAX). Original condition. A rare model designed by Loos for the Villa Duschnitz in Vienna, No. 67 Weimarer Straße. F. O. Schmidt produced only a small number of this item.
Provenance: private ownership, Vienna, from a dining room ensemble comprising a corner bench, armchairs, and a display system (lots 94-98).
