An early important chair, Model No. 14, Michael Thonet, - Design

Vienna, 1859, bent solid beech legs transitioning into the laminated large bend, laminated small bend, triply laminated seat frame, original woven cane, height 95 cm, width 41 cm, depth 45 cm, height of seat 49 cm. (DRAX)

Several specimens of this earliest type of chair No. 14 surfaced several years ago, some of them damaged.
