- at this time aluminium could not be welded or glued, so the tubes had to be anchored in the lugs using wedged expanders
- its aluminium mudguards with their unique wave design are very delicate
- the PYL brakes with their eccentric expansioncylinder-spreading-mechanism are very delightful
- the bell is servo operated by the front tyre
- the Plessier is a very coherent and pleasing bike
