From the estate of the Prague dancer Ella Vitkova (born 1910 in Prague) - dress with cape,
1920s, madder silk, relief pattern in velvet in various shades (grey, green, yellow, beige and green), sleeveless, back with push buttons and decorated bow, partly lined, length approx. 130 cm, size approx. 34, used condition, minimally split seams, (HS)
Ella Vitkova worked a.o. in Prague and Kolin as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She was educated among other places at the Hellerau-Laxenburg school by Rosalia Chladek. She established her own dance schools in the 1930s in Prague, Kolin and Podeprady.
