A "Looming Creature Comfort" and a "Soft in the Heat",
designed by Ron Arad in 1992, manufactured in 1994, steel, polished, fishbone steel mesh pattern, signed on both objects: R. Arad 1/94, "Looming chair" height 59 cm, width 41 cm, depth 99 cm, "Soft in the Heat"-stool height 54 cm, 53 x 40 cm. (DR)

The free-swinging form of "Looming Creature Comfort" makes it seem at first glance like a sculpture, but it turns out to be a functional seating object. It can be turned to offer four different sitting positions. "Looming Creature Comfort" belongs to Arad´s pieces of furniture from the early 1990s; objects with which Arad questioned established forms and overturned them at first glance.
