"Panello Dinamico" is an object in space that is based both on Dada Maino´s analyses of spectral colors and their interplay (Ricerca del Colore 1966"“68), and the theme of dynamic change through movement in space. The colors of the individual elements correspond to a specially calculated color scheme. Each element can be turned and thus extends the static configuration into a dynamic, changing spatial concept. The object does not influence the space statically; it does so dynamically.

"The search for colour: since colour relations are based mainly on the combined action of intuition and taste, I considered it useful to undertake an exact analysis of colours in order to ascertain the actual relations existing between them. To this purpose I used the seven colours of the spectrum and searched for the average colour value of each and later added white, black and brown. Ten multiplied by ten. Using the primary colour as a background, I obtained 40 visible variants on average, from maximum to minimum colour gradation. I thus obtained 100 plates of 20x20 cm, containing a total of 4000 shades. Each plate is divided in two halves and 40 colour segments, and each time the variant to be analysed is placed next to the background colours in order to read the colour value of each shade." (Dada Maino)
