French demi-lune salon chest of drawers,
Louis XVI period, circa 1780. Made in oak with mahogany veneer, with a polished finish, fluted uprights, turned tapering legs, 3 drawers at the front, 2 lateral doors and 2 compartments which pivot outwards, chased gilt bronze mounts and a moulded marble top (Rouge du Languedoc) Stamped on the left support “C. MAUTER and JME” (Conrad Mauter, maître from 1777). 86 x 110 x 49 cm. In restored condition. (MIN)
