Northeast Persia (Iran), c. 256 (269) x 130 cm, dated 1907, Kurdish tribal carpet with symmetrical knots and the black wefts typical of this region, rosette/star symbols with naive animal abstractions, clearly legible date to the upper left of the main border, the woven finishes on both sides and the original side edges have survived, consistently good pile condition in soft wool quality.
