Northeast Persia (Iran), c. 293 x 36 cm, about 1900, this unique piece in long/narrow format was most probably manufactured as a commissioned work and could once have been in use as a table runner, central field with continuous variation of an “Ak Su” motif; good pile condition with finest wool quality, dark brown corroded, the original side edges have survived, upper end with repairs.
