West Turkestan, c. 250 x 174 cm, mid-19th century, rare Yomut khali with 3 x 10 “tauk noska” guls and simple “chemche” secondary motifs, the light-coloured “shuttle” border design is very traditional, unusually high proportion of green, both finishes are complete, very deep pile (slightly thinner in the upper section).
