A goblet with cover featuring depiction of battle between electoral Saxonia and Hungary,
glass, colourless, conical sides with recessed side bands, this and edge of lip decorated with foliate work, strap work, scrollwork and studded strapwork with flowers, front features a finely cut landscape with villages marked 'Ronstuck, Hästicht, Eisdorf, Pilgramshayn, Hausdorf und Günterdorf', army lineup of the 'König. Ungarischen und Cur Sachsischen im Thomaswalde', reverse side features a large battle scene with cavallery and clouds fo smoke, four flag bearers, drums, dead soldiers and horses, base of body with jagged band, facet cut with concave disks and recessed arches graduating into nodus, smooth base with olive and ray cuts, matte vignettes on edge, height 28 cm, edge of lip has a minor chip, similar amethyst colour cover added, edge with foliate and strapwork, two sitting amorettes with medallions, inside which dated 'ct22 May und 1741', Silesia, 1741 (Ru)
