porcelain, polychromed and gilt, showing a tailor with a pince-nez on his nose and a billy goat, the tailor wearing a black tricorne with gold borders and a wig with black braid bow, on the blue bag strap with gilt trimmings there is a brooch with painted scissors and a spool of thread, red and green balls of wool are hanging down on the side, he is wearing a white shirt with ruffles, a magnificent yellow coat with colourful Indian flower branches, lavish gilt trimmings and gold tips, pockets and cuffs with gilt buttons and gilt trimmings, underneath a light-coloured waistcoat with finely polychromed rose borders and star-shaped blossoms, the coat and waistcoat with large buttons and borders, on the back gilt cords for fastening, underneath the coat a measure, reverse side showing on the strap a bag with sewing utensils, on the right hand he is wearing an emerald ring, the billy-goat has a brown leather belt on its back with a pin cushion, at front with two wine bottles on its neck, iron and scissors on the horns, coral red trousers with white tops and black boots with brown leather straps, height 43 cm, length 44 cm, rein missing, very good condition, Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, second half of the 19th century, model no. 107, former no. 148, model by Johann Joachim Kändler 1737 (Ru)
