Central Persia (Iran), c. 1200 x 810 cm, end of the 20th century, the imposing size of 97.2 sqm clearly indicates a commissioned work, the extreme width of over eight metres requires a steel loom of considerable size, which is very rarely available in weaving centres, with the classic white/blue colouring of Nain carpets, medallion design, silk pattern borders, with c. 1/2 million kts/sqm, no visible defects. Signed on the front with “Iran Habibian Nain”.
