Comparable drawings of the artist with citations of Roman architecture are preserved in the Albertina, Vienna (Inv. 9877, 9885), in the Museum of Fine Arts, Leipzig (Inv. N.I. 487, 490), in the Teylers Museum, Haarlem (Inv. Q72–74), and in the Herzog Anton Ulrich-Museum, Braunschweig (Inv. 2508). The attribution to Jacob van der Ulft was confirmed by Yvonne Bleyerveld and Charles Dumas on the basis of a high relsolution digital photograph.
