A 55-piece service with ornamental carnations, form design after a Sèvres model from the 18th century, decorated by Henri Gillet, 1903
, executed by Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres, 1903-1908, porcelain, delicate pink and green lips, the edges of the bowls, feet and covers painted and glazed with ornamental carnation flowers and leaves; slightly different in colour and size (different productions); partly chipped; the undersides with green factory marks and year numbers or pattern marks and partly with painter’s marks; consisting of: 39 dining plates (diameter 24.8-26.2 cm); three large round deep plates (diameter 32.2 cm); four large round plates (34.8-35.2 cm); a fish platter (length 47.5 cm); an oval platter (length 35.5 cm); three footed bowls (height 7.6 cm, diameter 21.5 cm); a small tureen with cover (height 12.8 cm); a large tureen without cover (height 11.2 cm); two rectangular trays (length 36.6 cm, width 25.7 cm).
