A Rare Sideboard, Luigi Anzani,
Italy c. 1950, box-shaped wood frame construction, solid maplewood and maplewood veneer, on four runner-shaped lacquered metal base frames, the front with six drawers, upper section with lockable slanted top, the interior fitted with compartments and drawers. The slanted top front with diverse precious woods. The inlays feature an elaborately designed landscape with various musical instruments. Marked “cassi dipinse Anzani intarsio”. Dimensions: height c. 125 cm, width c. 250 cm, depth c. 48 cm. (MHA)
