Vienna, in around 1930, box-shaped construction made of two-tone, light-coloured softwood, metal mounts and turned wooden finials, height c. 190 cm, width c. 170 cm, depth c. 48 cm. (MHA)
There are clear parallels to Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky’s “Frankfurt Kitchen”, not only chronologically but above all stylistically. This cabinet also illustrates the workshop character of this piece of kitchen furniture: it is space-saving and functional, with numerous components.
