in 1902, for the telegraph office of “Die Zeit” in Vienna, manufactured by J. & J. Kohn, four-legged bent beechwood structure stained to simulate mahogany, the seat and backrest reupholstered with original fabric, brass sabots and armrests, brass studs, height c. 77 cm, width c. 56 cm, depth c. 50 cm, height of seat c. 46 cm. Otto Wagner designed the complete interior for the telegraph office of “Die Zeit”. The manufacturer J. & J. Kohn received his permission to produce a small series based on this. However, due to high manufacturing costs, only a small number of pieces was executed.
