second half of the 19th century, wooden support carved with ornamental and floral motifs as well as rocailles, gilded, one side painted with a Baroque-style depiction of the messenger of the gods Iris with the caduceus (staff of Mercury/Hermes), the other side with new fabric covering, height c. 110 cm, some slight flaking of paint, well-kept condition.
