Vienna, 1906, the house of Leopold Goldmann, Vienna, 1911, and the Müller Villa, Prague, 1907; executed by Friedrich Otto Schmidt, model number 4306, Vienna, before 1914. The design of the “Kneeswimmer” reclining chair was modelled on the “Easy Chair” by Wilhelm Birch (1898).softwood frame, walnut wood, dark brown patinated; professionally restored; ochre yellow and light brown calfskin covering (as new), naturally tanned; four castors; signs of age and use; height 82.5 cm, height of seat 42.8 cm, depth 114 cm, width 75.7 cm.
