A Large Candelabrum and 4 Candleholders with “Swan Relief” and the Brühl-Kolowrat-Krakowsky Alliance Coat of Arms, - Antiquariato

porcelain, the main figure of Acis sitting on a dolphin together with a Nereid, gazing into each other’s eyes, as he touches her shoulder, to obverse and reverse a young triton playing, the triton to the obverse encircles the lower body of the nymph with his arm, the other one holds a water lily in his left hand, Acis holds the central stem of the lamp with his left hand with its 4 branches and sockets, the group rising above a shell dish, 3 gilt scaly volutes with gilt shells, 3 gilt sculptural cartouches with 2 shells and 1 parasol with the colourful and gold-painted coat of arms, 4 sconces and drip guards in shell form with wide and narrow gilt edging, height 50 cm, underglaze blue crossed swords mark with loop mark and dot 1924–1934, model no. 245, former no. 143, painter no. 74, 4 candleholders, the body supported by 2 amorettes, on both sides with heraldic cartouches and coats of arms, candle socket and foot with gold fluting, 3 sculptural gold shells on foot, height 23.5 cm, minor restoration
Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords mark c. 1970, model 05113, former no. 12A, 21A, model by Johann Joachim Kändler 1736–1740 and Johann Friedrich Eberlein 1738–1742 (Ru)
